The sandy beach of Narva-Jõesuu, stretching almost 13 kilometers, is the longest sea beach in Estonia. Here, you can not only sunbathe and swim but also engage in various water sports. For active enthusiasts, SUP boards and kayaks are available, and jet skis can often be rented. The beach is an ideal place for beach volleyball games.

Start your day with a morning run along the shore and end it with an evening stroll, enjoying the famous sunsets.

For a unique experience, a kayak trip along the Narva River offers an extreme adventure and a test of endurance right at the border of the European Union.

Cycling and hiking trails
Narva-Jõesuu and its surroundings are a paradise for cyclists and hikers. Dedicated trails and cycling paths run through pine forests, along the seaside coast, and lead to the historic Sinimäed Hills or to the sights of Narva. These routes are ideal both for relaxed cycling and for more energetic hiking.

The neighbouring city of Narva can be reached not only by car or public transport but also via a cycling path that is also suitable for rollerbladers and skateboarders.

Narva-Jõesuu can also be explored in a playful way through smartphone-based city quests, where participants move around the town solving puzzles and searching for clues.

Winter sports
n winter, the crystal-clear air of Narva-Jõesuu invites visitors to enjoy cross-country skiing and long, relaxing walks. Prepared ski tracks are usually set in Sinimäe, in the forests of Narva-Jõesuu, and along the beach. Snow-covered forests and the Sinimäe hills offer excellent conditions for skiers of all levels, from beginners to more experienced ones. If needed, ski equipment can be rented at the Sinimäe Sports Centre.

In favourable winter weather, outdoor ice rinks are also prepared in the town. Those who prefer a more leisurely winter experience can enjoy cleared seaside paths for peaceful walks.

After an active day, it is a pleasure to relax in one of the town’s spa centres.

Horseback riding
If you would like to try horse riding or spend a day in nature surrounded by animals, Narva-Jõesuu offers several opportunities. Visitors can enjoy horseback rides, take private riding lessons or visit a petting zoo with children. Fresh air and a peaceful atmosphere create a genuine countryside experience.

Favorites include the St. George’s Night Run, marking the start of the sports season, and the Sea Mile Run, where participants race on both sand and water.

For beach soccer fans, a traditional Mayor’s Cup tournament is held once a season.

And for those who enjoy unique physical activities that combine sports and creativity, the sand sculpture contest, traditionally timed to coincide with the city’s anniversary, is an excellent choice.
